My focus was on making pragmatic early architecture decisions, reducing operational overhead, and ensuring the team could move quickly without compromising long-term maintainability.
I’m working as a fractional CTO, helping drive the technical side of the startup and getting things up to speed. My focus is on making the right technical decisions early, shaping the architecture, and building a solid foundation that the product can grow on.
We’re using Next.js and a PWA built with React Router on the frontend, with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM on the data side. I enjoy this kind of role because it lets me combine hands-on development with technical leadership, making sure we move quickly while still building things in a scalable and maintainable way.
